At St Germans School, our intent in Art and Design is to give children the opportunity to take part in a range of artistic activities that will engage, inspire and challenge pupils, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. They will be taught skills and techniques that can be developed throughout the years, which will produce individual and group pieces of work. Children will be encouraged to critically evaluate their own work and that of others in order to learn from their experiences.

KS2 have been learning about Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet and have created some fantastic art work inspired by their works.
