World Porridge Day 2015

Green Flag success!
Congratulations to everyone. We have successfully  been awarded the Green Flag for the second time!
The assessor was most impressed with the school and said:
"Well done St Germans School. It is hard to show just good this school is at doing whole school initiatives and activities related to sustainability issues. One has to be there talking to the Head and the children to fully appreciate their commitment to putting a 'green agenda' at the heart of the curriculum. There is no shortage of volunteers to carry out the tasks of the team and encourage all staff and pupils to take part and the enthusiasm of this team is exemplary  . Yours is one of the best Eco-Schools I have seen on my visits with absolutely no litter visible and with good systems in place to deal quickly with any problems. Please keep up the hard work!"

Our hall displays showed some of the work we did during out topic ' Keen to be Green'
