Wraparound Childcare at St Germans Primary

We support families beyond the school day. At St Germans we are proud to offer wraparound childcare to support our families and help children thrive in a safe, enriching environment before and after school.

Wraparound care helps to develop social and communication skills, broadens children’s interests and hobbies, and allows children to complete homework with the support from the adults at school. A meal/snack is also provided.

Breakfast Club 7:30 - 8:40am £4 per session

We provide a positive and supportive start to the day with healthy foods like cereals and fruits, leading to better concentration, alertness, and memory retention in the classroom.

After-school Club 3:15 - 4:15pm = £4, 4:15 - 5:30pm = £6 (Until 5pm on Fridays - £5)

It is a time and space for children to relax and have fun after a productive day at school as well as taking part in various activities. Snacks are provided (we are open to suggestions) which include: vegetable sticks with dips, fruit (fruity kebabs), cereal and toast.

Open to all pupils from Reception to Year 6. Priority may be given to working parents and those with specific needs, in line with DfE guidance. Our programme complements the school’s enrichment offer and provides dependable care that supports working families.

Activities available (open to suggestions) 

• Crafts - drawing, collage etc

• Games - ball games, board games, cards, puzzles etc

• Study space - for the children that wish to complete their homework (support provided)

• Access to chromebooks for digital activities

You can book now via MCAS app. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance.
